Winning Spread Betting Strategies

I have that Malcom Pryor’s spread betting book – ‘Winning Spread Betting Strategies’, is quite dry in content, almost a recipe book, but I found it useful in seeing how to construct and write down a trading strategy, although can’t say I have tried to follow any of his recipes…

Not to misunderstand me – the ‘Winning Spread Betting Strategies’ book is still worth a read. In practice, the book takes the reader on a step by step basis through the implementation of 7 technical analysis based strategies: Buying Dips, Buying Relative Strength, Selling Rallies, Selling Relative Weakness, Buying Support and Selling Resistance, Long Short Portfolio and Early Bird. On the Bear side at 25 quid it’s a bit more expensive than NT, on the Bull side you don’t have that bald guy staring at you when you wake up for a pee. (I always used to keep him face down)

His first book might be a bit more readable though for a beginner, ‘Financial Spread Betting Handbook’ or something, very good on the basics…
